Snowsports - on green slopes

For skiers who have got the basics, the drag lifts at Bissac, the open lift at Flaine Forum and the chairlift at the Pré allow free access to several beginners´ pistes. The green pistes at Bissac, Epicéa and Poya are the easiest to get to. On the Combe de Vernant, the Arolles green piste with its lovely smooth, regular slope, is accessible from the chairlift at le Lac. Finally the new Gérats chairlift gives access to an easy ski area in the forest, which is both sunny and off the beaten track.

Pure enjoyment for parents! Take your children on a voyage of discovery down the superb Piste des Cascades from Flaine to Sixt.
The 14km blue piste takes you through the heart of the Fer à Cheval nature reserve, a wild, unspoilt mountain landscape, far from the hurly-burly of the rest of the world.
At the bottom, a ski bus takes you to the departure point of the ski lifts at Samoëns or Morillon. Remember to check the shuttle bus and lift timetables to get back to Flaine.
