In the mornings, she tours the wildlife refuge areas to make sure they’re in good working order. If you come across her, don’t hesitate to ask for information on the species that take refuge there.<\/p>\n

They’re very useful on the estate – we have to share the land!<\/p>\n

From 1pm, you can meet Nelly at the start of the D\u00e9sert Blanc chairlift in Flaine.<\/p>\n

Equipped with spotting scopes and binoculars, she’ll be delighted to show you the chamois on the southern slopes, or the fox peeking out of its burrow… If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the Bearded vulture<\/a>, Europe’s largest bird of prey, with a wingspan of up to 2m80.<\/p>\n
