Exceptional situation this Friday, February 13<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
A new Avalanche Risk Assessment Bulletin (BRA) announces a risk level of 4\/5 (high) for tomorrow, Friday, February 13. This BRA is attached to this press release, along with the orange avalanche alert issued today by the Prefecture.<\/div>\n
\n

Despite this change, the situation remains particularly sensitive at high altitudes.<\/p>\n

Significant snowfall has been recorded:<\/p>\n

more than 70 cm at 2,000 m,
\nmore than 1 meter at 2,500 m.<\/p>\n

These quantities, combined with wind and accumulation at high altitudes, are maintaining an uneven and unstable snowpack.<\/p>\n

After a thorough analysis of the situation, major PIDA (Avalanche Triggering Intervention Plan) operations and ski area safety measures will be implemented tomorrow morning by the ski patrol.<\/p>\n

The aim is to enable a gradual return to normal during the morning, with the opening of the various sectors and links as they are made safe.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n
