Description

Set out to explore the summit of Sairon on a leisurely hike starting from the Esserts resort!

This self-paced hike at the end of the day lets you reach the summit at your own pace—whether you’re alone, with friends, or with family. The route, approximately 6 km long with 650 m of elevation gain, follows a marked and safe hiking trail.

After a staggered start from the Forum des Esserts, enjoy reaching the summit in a warm and welcoming atmosphere with traditional music, as well as a guided exploration of the Giffre Valley, its natural heritage, and traditional pastoral life led by a mountain guide.

A relaxation area will be available at the summit to enjoy the panoramic views and share a friendly moment. The Chalet du Sairon will be open especially for the occasion, offering a traditional menu by reservation.

The descent is self-guided; be sure to bring a headlamp.
