What's on the agenda for today

This fun-filled day turns every step into a discovery and every moment into a memory.

9am: Start your morning in the hills by taking the Morillon cable car, followed by the Sairon chairlift. Get a close-up view of goats and sheep, and, with a bit of luck, spot marmots in their natural habitat.

The route takes you to the summit at an altitude of 1,700 metres, where the landscape takes on a more alpine character. After the climb, you’ll be treated to a spectacular view of the Giffre Valley and the lower Arve Valley — a wonderful experience to share with the family.

10am: It’s time for a tasty break at Le Chalet restaurant. Enjoy some delicious Alpine specialities before setting off on the descent.

10.30 am: Enjoy a more leisurely yet equally immersive downhill walk from the summit, passing through the Veille mountain pasture, past the grazing herds and through the spruce forest, before finishing at Morillon 1100.

12.30 pm: Take the Morillon cable car again to head back down to the valley, towards Lac Bleu.

1.00 pm: After taking in the lush mountain scenery, head to the refreshing setting of the lake for a well-deserved lunch break at La Covagne restaurant. Don’t forget to book!

2.30 pm: Time for the older kids to relax and the little ones to have fun with a session at Splash.

From now on, it’s free rein for everyone!

Babies of any age are welcome, subject to the following conditions:

  • If the child is ≤ 85 cm tall (approximately 2 years old and able to walk unaided), they are permitted on the chairlift provided they are carried in an approved front-facing baby carrier (all other types of baby carrier are prohibited). The child and the person carrying them occupy a single seat.

The operator must ensure that the guardrail can always be closed properly. If the guardrail cannot be closed due to the design of the seats or the size of the passengers, this constitutes a valid reason for refusal. In the event of a vertical evacuation, the baby and the person carrying it are evacuated together.

  • If the child> than 85 cm, they are able to sit unaided (otherwise, they do not fall into this category). They must sit next to the person accompanying them. In the event of an evacuation, they must be evacuated alone, using an evacuation triangle suitable for small children.

The baby carrier (without the baby) is permitted on a seat and must be placed next to the person accompanying the baby, so that it cannot fall off the seat.
