Description

We are back this winter with a wine list full of local Savoyard vintages that will make your mouth water.
As Robin Duverney said, "We could learn how to swim in the barrel!" when talking about La Deuse by Gilles Berlioz 2017
Or the surprising 'Crac Boum'Bu' from the Domaine Saint-Germain that is both organic and from the Savoie region, combining all the Savoyard grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Gamay, Monedeuse and Persan.
We work with the Brasserie Mont Blanc for our selection of draught beers (Cristal for avid beer-drinkers, 'Blanche' (White) lager for the fresh flavour and 'Rousse' (red) for those with a sweet tooth). The unmissable IPA from last winter will also be available on draught, served by our barmaid Leslie.
Our Organic Apple and Blueberry juice from 'Savoyard Gourmand' is on offer for the kids and adults, to be enjoyed with a delicious pancake with Organic free-from-palm-oil 'Nutella'.
For those who enjoy a heartwarming hot drink, come and try our 'Dahu', Milka hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream and Haribo marshmallows.
Chocolate is always welcome during any harsh winter, so why not try another variation, the 'Smart Dahu' that comes with Smarties on top...
Older family members will enjoy a big mug of Space Joe, our homemade mulled wine, the recipe for which remains a mystery.

The 'gruff and bearded' Steve will welcome you throughout the winter season, in the mornings, at lunchtime and in the evenings.

On our LUNCHTIME menu, you'll find a selection of our specialities and signature dishes from our chef Sébastien Duval:
- The 'Chausson': a parcel with Reblochon cheese and caramelised onion compote served with lettuce and cured ham.
- The Blueberry pie with almond surprise... Always a success...
We also propose a delicious vegan starter, main course and dessert:
- the fresh and delicious Vegan Wrap, my favourite...
- the Vegan Pizza, without cheese of course!
- Coco Crumble with apple, no comment... No butter but with lots of coconut!

Our selection of ice creams are made by Gérard Cabiron, 'Meilleur Ouvrir de France' for iced desserts and 'Maître Artisan Glacier' in the Vallée de l'Avance.
You'll love the Crème Fraiche ice creams from the Hautes-Alpes and Homemade Caramel made with mountain butter and 'fleur de sel', as well as our selection of sorbets.

Our EVENING menu is also centred around the gourmet bistro-style with delicious homemade dishes made with fresh products from local producers.
The menu changes throughout the season so you can taste new products and always expect a delicious meal. There are some specialities that remain on the menu all winter long, such as our Fondue with Ayze local sparkling white wine, our unmissable Organic Soup with Puy en Velay Lentils, grilled bacon crisps and pan-fried foie gras bites.

And for a great ending to every meal, don't forget to taste our House 'Trou Savoyard': Génépi Ice Cream, Maison Guillaumette, covered in 'L'Ancienne' Génépi from Savoie, a liqueur made in Chambery from a recipe by Philibert Routin, Distillerie des Alpes since 1883, to then set off onto the slopes with a spring in your step... Or not...

We will be organising our annual end-of-season Concert for holidaymakers and all our cherished customers of course, to celebrate in style the snow that we have enjoyed so much all winter long.

Our organic waste is collected by the SIVOM in Morillon to then be transformed into biogas and then into energy.
