Description

In winter, this picnic area transforms into a true white paradise, where pristine snow blankets the mountains and creates a breathtaking spectacle. Sit back comfortably in the deckchairs and let yourself be amazed by the view.

This picnic area is accessible to skiers, but also to walkers, who can enjoy a stroll along the Serpentine run on an approximately 1 km out-and-back path reserved for pedestrians.

To access the picnic area, you will need a Flaine or Grand Massif ski pass, or a pedestrian pass (free for children under 8 and adults over 75).

Tarifs

Free entry but transport fee applies. The picnic area is freely accessible. However, to reach it, you must have a Flaine or Grand Massif ski pass, or a pedestrian pass allowing you to use the Grandes Platières gondola lift.

Localisation

The picnic area is located at the top of the Grande Platières cable car. To get there, please park in the P2 car park - about a 15-minute walk from the cable car.
