Located right at the top station of the Grandes Platières gondola, this picnic area undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps. A stop along several hiking routes, it’s the perfect place to take a break and recharge.

The picnic area is freely accessible. It can be reached either by the Grandes Platières gondolas or via the various hiking trails that lead there.

Tarifs

Free entry but transport fee applies. If you choose to go up via the gondolas, please have a pedestrian pass (round trip). It is available for purchase directly at the ticket offices, at the base of the gondolas.

Localisation

The picnic area is located at the top of the Grande Platières cable car. To get there, please park in the P2 car park - about a 15-minute walk from the cable car.
