Hiking highlights
Alpage and Lac de l’Airon

Departure point: from the top of the gondola.
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Public / difficulty: Family – all ages / easy.
Difference in altitude +/-: 130 metres (for ascent and descent by gondola)

Itinerary :

  • From the top of the gondola, follow the signs for “Lac de l’Airon”. On arrival at the alpine farm, enjoy a meal in the restaurant, fish for trout and buy cheese direct from the farm, all with a breathtaking view of the Aravis massif.
  • For the return journey, head for Col de l’Airon, then Kédeusaz. Return to the station by gondola or on foot.

 

La Croix des 7 fréres

Starting point: Parking des Grangettes
Duration: 2h30
Public / Difficulty: All ages / Difficult.
Ascent +/-: 490m

Itinerary :

  • In the middle of the Combe de Gron, you’ll reach the Chalet des Biollaires and then the Croix des 7 Frères. Panoramic view of the Haut Giffre mountains
  • Superb descent over the Tronchets mountain pastures.
