Where can I find information on which lifts and pistes are open ?

To find out which ski slopes and lifts are open, click here!

In the “Live info” menu, you can check the opening status of ski lifts and slopes for the entire ski area or by resort.

Scroll towards the bottom of the page and you’ll find the “ski slopes and lifts” menu under the “Ski area status” menu.

The ✔️ symbol to the right of the piste or lift means that it is open.

The ❌ symbol means that the piste of lift is closed.

What are the ski-lift opening times ?

What kind of winter sports equipments is permitted ?

You want to access the ski lifts on foot, with a dog, on a Snowscoot or toboggan….

The webcam image is frozen at date X. What can I do ?

In-house support services receive notifications as soon as a webcam is down.

 

What are the shuttle bus timetables ?

To consult the shuttle bus timetables in the Grand Massif resorts, click on the “Plan your holiday” menu, then “Access and transport”.

Then, in “Shuttle and Ski-bus”, click on the resort of your choice, and you will be redirected to the resort’s tourist office website.

HOW CAN I MAKE AN ONLINE PURCHASE OR RECHARGE?

Are you making a purchase?

Make your booking on our website by following the instructions on the screen.

Are you recharging?

Simply enter the pass number with the following format: XXXXXXXX-XXX-XXX. Recharging is immediate: in just 5 minutes, the time it takes to put on your skis, you can be at one of our ski lifts and enjoying the slopes straight away.

What payment methods are accepted?

  • For online payments on our online sales website:
    We accept credit / debit / charge cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Connect holiday vouchers
  • For payments at ticket offices:
    We accept credit / debit / charge cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), cash, cheques drawn on a French bank account and ANCV holiday vouchers.

WHAT DOES MY LIFT PASS GIVE ME ACCESS TO?

Explore the Grand Massif ski area and its 5 resorts. Whether you’re an experienced skier or just looking to get started, we have areas to suit all levels of skier.

  • The “GRAND MASSIF” ski area means that you can ski in all 5 resorts.
  • The “VILL4GES” ski area gives you access to the 4 village resorts: Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt.
  • The “FLAINE” ski area is ideal for those who wish to discover new high mountain horizons.
  • The “SIXT” ski area is ideal for families or beginners who wish to ski in complete tranquillity.
  • The “BEGINNER” pass allows you to progress on ski-runs at your own pace. There is one “BEGINNER” ski area in each resort.

What does the pedestrian pass give me access to?

The pedestrian pass allows you to take certain gondolas in order to enjoy resort summits or accompany children to ski lessons.

Please note! A round trip can only be made once during the same day.

The 6-day pedestrian pass allows unlimited use of the lifts for 6 non-consecutive days.

Is there a student rate for the Grand Massif?

No, the Grand Massif does not have a specific student rate.

However, the Skillico offer provides discounts ranging from 10% to 40% on days skiing in the GRAND MASSIF, FLAINE or VILL4GES areas throughout the winter.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THE EVENT OF AN UNFORESEEN EVENT (HOLIDAY CANCELLATION, CHANGE OF PLAN,…)?

In the event of unforeseen events, such as changes of plan or adverse weather conditions, we recommend that you take out our ‘Serenity Advantage’ for only 9€ per lift pass.

What is the Serenity Advantage? It guarantees that you:

  1. Can cancel your lift passes up to the day prior to your first skiing day. You will then receive a full refund!
  2. Benefit from the best available offer in the event of a reduction in our rates in situ, for example due to adverse weather conditions. The difference between the rate applied and the purchase price will be refunded upon request.

ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE PROPERLY INSURED?

“My Ski Insurance” covers you for 3.60€ per person per day.

The insurance covers rescue costs (transport & search), equipment hire and ski lessons. Find out more…

WHAT IS A SKICARD?

A SkiCard, also known as a hands-free pass, is compulsory to access ski lifts. This smartcard is:

  • Free for all online purchases,
  • Payable (2€) for all purchases made at ticket offices.

It is rechargeable.

Once you’re on the slopes, and for your own convenience, place your SkiCard in a left-hand pocket. The smartcard will be automatically detected when you use our ski lifts giving you access to the slopes.

HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM A GROUP RATE?

Group rates apply for a minimum of 20 people. These rates are available to associations, public bodies and work committees. For more information, write to contact@grand-massif.com

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’VE LOST MY LIFT PASS

Go to one of our ticket offices with your receipt, and we’ll recharge your pass onto a new SkiCard.

You will be asked to pay a 20€ administration fee.

Tip: When making a purchase at a ticket office, we suggest that you take a photo of your receipt in case you lose it.

You can pay for your Season pass by:

  • Credit/debit card (payment in 2 or 3 instalments possible, at no extra cost)
  • Amex
  • E*-connect French holiday vouchers

WHAT IS THE POLICY ON CANCELLATION AND REFUND?

The purchase of a Season ticket is final and binding. It does not entitle you to any compensation whatsoever, apart from that described in our terms and conditions of sale.

If your Season Pass refers to Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns or Sixt, please consult the GMDS terms and conditions of sale.

If your Season Pass refers to Les Carroz, please consult the SOREMAC terms and conditions of sale.

IS THE SEASON PASS NOMINATIVE?

The Season pass is nominative. In addition, you will be asked to upload a photo when you make your booking.

HOW DOES MY MEMBERSHIP WORK?

Skillico memberships are renewed automatically.
They come into effect on 30th September for a period of 1 year.

As such, you will receive an email in August and in September to remind you that your membership will be renewed.

If you do not wish to renew your membership, all you have to do is make the change to your account on the Ski à la Carte website

WHAT DO I DO IF MY SKILLICO PASS IS LOST/STOLEN?

The cost of replacing a card is 10€, billed at the end of the month.

Beware: once the card has been blocked and replaced, it cannot be reactivated, even if it is found before the new one has been sent.
