What are the preferable modes of transport for getting to the resorts?


Start preparing your holiday in the French Alps now by looking up the sustainable means of transport. There are several ways to get about in a more environmentally friendly way:
-For long distance travel, opt for trains and shuttle buses, -Share a vehicle.
Once here, take advantage of the free ski bus routes to get around your resort.

All ski bus routes are free of charge.  Inter-resort transport is only possible between the resorts of Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt.  This shuttle service is only available during the winter season.

How to get to the Grand Massif resorts, in Haute-Savoie, in the Alps, by road, by plane or by train?

The resorts are known for their accessibility.  Indeed, the villages are only one hour from Geneva airport and about 15-25 minutes from the A40 motorway.  The SNCF stations in Annemasse and Cluses are 50 and 15 km respectively from the nearest Grand Massif resort.  Here, you will find all the information you need for getting to and around the resort.
