WILDLIFE OF THE GRAND MASSIF

Come satisfy your curiosity about the wildlife that surrounds us in the mountains, and with luck, you may be able to observe animals!

Free and open to everyone!

Where ? When ?

Come and meet Nelly and Fabrice, who will be on hand to talk about nature in our ski area and explain what we’re doing to protect the environment. They will be at their observation point in the Grand Massif resorts:

– From 26th December:

Every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 9am to 10:30am

Nelly is out and about in the ski area in the bird overwintering areas that we mark out to protect them in winter.

From 10.30am, find her at the bottom of the Désert Blanc chairlift, next to the departure station.

– From 2nd January:

Find Fabrice from 1pm to 4pm:

On Tuesday, at the top of the Biolaires chairlift.

On Wednesday, at the top of the Coulouvrier chairlift.

On Thursday (only during French school holidays) at the top of the Coulouvrier chairlift.

NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT ACTION

The Grand Massif initiative aims to make visitors aware of the protection and discovery of the environment.

The estate is home to exceptional fauna, some species of which are endemic to the region, such as the ibex, chamois, black grouse, bearded vulture and ptarmigan.
