Ski from Flaine to Sixt in no time!Created in 1994, the Cascades piste is the longest in the Grand Massif ski area. A 1700-meter vertical drop separates the start from the finish in Sixt.
Winding its way through alpine meadows and forests, it offers panoramic views of the Mont Blanc peaks at the start, then, on the way down, of the peaks overlooking Sixt (La chaine des Fiz, le Fer à Cheval, la pointe d’Anterne, le Pas de Sales etc…
It’s not uncommon to spot chamois or ibex from the piste…
For the more experienced…
A magical place in Flaine: La Combe de GersA fabulous area, marked and ungroomed, Combe de Gers is best suited to freeride enthusiasts. With a single ski lift covering the combe’s 700 m vertical drop, an impressive slope and good exposure… That doesn’t mean we can’t warn even the most experienced of you. The rock bars are high and numerous, and avalanches dangerous.
