A partnership established between the Compagnie Des Alpes and the IDM team has made it possible for Grand Massif Domaines Skiables to process 2400 kg of used liners.
The liners are the plastic parts of the ski lift sheaves (rollers) that are present on the pylons.
The collection process set up by IDM as part of the Ecovertis project makes it possible to collect the used plastic, to pool resources and to recycle the material in order to give it a new life as interlocking flooring panels.
In 2022, Ecovertis meant:
– 80 tonnes of recycled liners
– 300 full crates retrieved
– 8000 Ecoverclip panels produced
– +120 satisfied French customers and resorts
In 2022, the 2,400 kg recycled meant a saving of 16.8 T in terms of CO2 emissions.
These actions are in keeping with our 0 non-recycled waste initiative and the 0 Net Carbon initiative.
